Pickup at 8:00 AM. Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to watch orphaned baby elephants being fed and bathed (11:00 AM feeding). Then head to the Giraffe Centre, where you can hand-feed endangered Rothschild giraffes from an elevated platform.
Explore the Karen Blixen Museum — the historic farmhouse of the famous "Out of Africa" author. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic Kenyan cuisine in the leafy Karen suburb.
Visit the Bomas of Kenya for a captivating cultural performance featuring traditional music and dance from over 40 Kenyan communities. Browse the craft market for authentic souvenirs before returning to your hotel by 5:00 PM.
Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust situated in Nairobi National Park, home to orphaned baby elephants who have lost their mothers to poaching or other tragedy. Feeding time is at 11:00 AM — imagine walking among 10 or so elephant calves! A keeper will give a talk about the elephants, their origin, how they are getting on, and how previous orphans are progressing. You can get really close to the elephants and if lucky, see a young rhino up close. One can also foster a baby elephant.
Proceed to the Giraffe Centre to see and feed the famous Rothschild giraffes. The centre was started by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish Earl, when he and his wife Betty captured a baby giraffe to start a programme of breeding giraffes in captivity at their home in Langata. Since then the programme has had huge success, resulting in the introduction of several breeding pairs of Rothschild Giraffe into Kenyan national parks.
Early morning pickup from your hotel or airport in Nairobi. Depart passing via the Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover to admire the scenic views of the escarpment en route to Lake Nakuru National Park, set deep in the magnificent Rift Valley.
Arrive in time for a game drive with chances of seeing rhino, lion, giraffe, waterbuck, baboon, and monkey. Explore the shores of Lake Nakuru and if you are lucky, see flamingos among other wildlife. Lunch will be held overlooking the lake.
Late afternoon depart from Lake Nakuru with game viewing en route. Arrive in Nairobi early evening for drop-off at your hotel.
Get picked at your hotel by 7:30 AM and transfer to Lake Naivasha with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley escarpment to enjoy panoramic views.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha and head for a boat ride directly to Crescent Island for a guided walk among grazing wildlife. Head to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary — a private island sanctuary hidden from most tourists. Enjoy a guided walking safari past grazing hippos, giraffe, and zebra in an up-close, hands-on experience. Return to Nairobi by 7:00 PM with plenty of photo opportunities and memories from three dramatic parks in one day.
Get picked up at your hotel by 5:00 AM. The driver guide picks up your picnic lunch box and heads for Amboseli National Park, arriving by 9:00 AM. Famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants, Amboseli offers an unforgettable safari experience.
Enjoy extensive game drives across Amboseli's open plains and swamplands. Spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and abundant birdlife against the iconic backdrop of Africa's highest mountain. Picnic lunch in the park.
Depart Amboseli at 3:00 PM and return to Nairobi, arriving at your hotel by 7:00 PM.
7:30 AM pickup from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Scenic drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Check into your lodge or camp and freshen up. At 5:00 PM, join a guided walking safari with Maasai Morans (warriors), followed by a visit to a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Option A — Full-Day Game Drive: Depart at 7:30 AM with a packed picnic lunch for an extensive game drive across the Masai Mara plains. Visit the famous Mara River — a key crossing point during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Option B — Split Game Drives: Early morning drive at 6:00 AM, return for breakfast and leisure time at the lodge, then an afternoon drive at 4:00 PM returning by 6:30 PM. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
