1. Securing Your Booking
- Your booking is officially confirmed once we receive your written confirmation and the required deposit.
- A 40% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your safari, accommodations, and services. Special terms may apply for international flights and certain villa or lodge bookings.
- The balance is due 60 days before departure.
- For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
2. Payments
- Deposits are non-refundable but will be credited toward your total trip cost.
- We accept bank transfers, major credit cards, and secure online payments. Credit card or PayPal payments may attract a handling fee of up to 4%.
- Timely payments are essential. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in the release of your booking and loss of space, especially during peak seasons.

3. Changes & Cancellations
- All requests for changes or cancellations must be submitted to us in writing.
- Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional costs from suppliers (lodges, camps, airlines, etc.).
- Partial cancellations — for example, removing specific nights or activities — may attract cancellation fees for the affected portion.
- If you decide to change accommodation or shorten your stay after check-in for personal reasons, no refund will be issued for unused nights or services. We will gladly assist with new arrangements at your own cost.
- We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance early to protect against unforeseen changes.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and, in some cases, may be a condition of travel. Your policy must, at minimum, cover medical emergencies, medical evacuation/repatriation, trip cancellation, trip curtailment, and loss of personal baggage.
Included cover: Transworld Adventures provides complimentary AMREF Flying Doctors evacuation cover during your safari.
5. Passports & Entry Requirements
- Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return date and contain at least 2 blank pages.
- Visas for Kenya should be obtained prior to arrival. Apply online via www.visa.go.ke.
- We recommend submitting your visa application at least 2–4 weeks before travel (earlier where possible).
- Contact us if you need guidance on your specific nationality.
6. Responsibility & Safety
- We partner with trusted airlines, lodges, camps, and service providers — your safety and comfort remain our top priority at all times.
- While we do everything possible to deliver a seamless experience, we cannot be held responsible for delays, changes, or disruptions caused by third-party suppliers, weather, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Your personal belongings are at your own risk and should be adequately insured.
7. Final Notes
- By confirming your booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these guidelines.
